AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In Farrukhabad, miscreants vandalized and set fire to a Shia religious site. Late on Wednesday night, unknown troublemakers set fire to the tazias kept inside the dargah premises and damaged two graves named Hafeez and Haji. The management of the shrine learned about the fire on Thursday morning.
When the management opened the lock, they saw that the tazias had been completely burned to ashes in the late-night fire. The alams and other religious items kept inside were also damaged by the flames. Items stored in a nearby old building were also affected. After smoke and burnt remains were seen in the morning, the police and fire department were immediately informed.
The sacred Karbala/dargah of the Shia community, called “Maula Ali Najaf-ul-Ashraf,” is located on Chilsara Road in Farrukhabad. It is looked after by Sabir Ali.
